Attenuating
这是个动词，意思就是在浓度上效果上变少变弱。一般来说，都不是用来形容人的，这一点一定要注意，主要是指由于他物的影响导致某个东西产生了这种被weaken的效果。
这里看一下例句：
Her attention attenuated towards the end of class.
Since the aspirin had been expired for four years, it only exercised an attenuated effect, and Harold continued to feel the remnants of a headache.
Hinterlands
