The University: Founded in 1891, Seattle University is located on 20 hectares

in the center of the vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood near downtown. More than

7,500 students are enrolled in both undergraduate and graduate programs within

nine schools and colleges. Awards and high rankings for academic rigor,

sustainability, and social justice are among Seattle University’s touchstones of

Internships: With direct access to many of the major Seattle area

corporations including Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon and Costco, students have the

possibility to enjoy internships and placements to better enhance their

experience and education. Seattle is a global center for medical research,

biotechnology, software engineering, and much more – the city is our

classroom.

Programs: 63 undergraduate, 31 graduate and 21 certificate programs, students

study with top scholars and experts in a variety of fields including Business,

Engineering, Nursing, and many others.

The Campus: Seattle University is lively - Home to one of the newest and most

modern libraries in the country, the Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning

Commons. The campus includes a variety of sports facilities including the newly

remodeled Connelly Center. The Lee Center for the Arts provides the hub for

Seattle University’s theater and music performances. The campus is dedicated to

the stewardship of environmentally friendly grounds; including gardens and

landscaping that we believe enhance the learning experience. The Student Center

is a place to gather, socialize, eat and cultivates a community, as well as

quiet spaces scattered throughout the building.

The International Student Center: Located in the Student Center Pavilion, the

International Student Center serves approximately 700 international students

from 70 different countries. The center is a gathering place that offers

international students cultural, educational, and social activities. The staff

assists with immigration and travel issues. Orientations are held throughout the

year.

Scholarships: Undergraduate international applicants are eligible for

merit-based scholarships with the completion of SAT or ACT tests, and

competitive marks/grades.
