Introduction

Teamwork in which people could gather to discuss or resolve tasks either in

school or workplace is quite common. In order to maintain effective group work,

listening to others’ words including negative ones is thenecessity and

First of all, hardly can an overconfident individual get involved in the

group. In order to inspire more sparkles, people work in teams to ensure the

collision of ideas. In other words, the more thoughts members have, the more

conflicts happen among them. In this case, being endurable to negative comment

from partners is a prerequisite in getting along with others in the

prestigious university with honorary degree, which contributed to his arrogance

towards other’s feedback. Every time when the group meeting was held, he

evenbrutally arguing with other team members. After several times, he

wasexcluded from the team for the obstacle he caused for the collaboration in

True, blunt criticism hurts. It is never comfortable for one to peacefully

accept the blame especially when the proposal is elaborated. A strong sense of

failure would be triggered and predominant for the presenter, but what we should

envisage is that this is the only way for any successful group work where along

with the praise there must be criticism. Unlike being frustrated, we are ought

to have an open mind for all possible evaluation. Or the work may be stuck due

to the slide into a bad feeling even distrust, which will greatly impede group

toforge the final success. One of the previous projects I collaborated with my

classmates can best exemplify this. In order to get an A for our teamwork, they

would spare no effort but gave me the straightforward comment. At first, I felt

make a change. Things were getting much better and the final assessment was

excellent for all of us. It is the blunt comment from my teams that promotes the

healthy relationship between us, as well as the promising
