选项分析：

(A)like it is indicative that

【错误】 句子结构：“it is indicative……”是一个主谓结构，“like”不是分句连接词，无法引导一个主谓结构。

(B)as if to indicate

【错误】 固定搭配：“seem as if to do……”无此搭配。

(C)to indicate that

【正确】 “seem to do sth.”是正确的固定搭配，“that”引导的从句“the economy, although growing

slowly, is not nearing a recession”明确地表述了“indicate”的内容。

【大意】 连同昨天宣布的制造商价格的下降，今天发布的零售销售额的坚挺数据似乎暗示着经济虽然增长缓慢，但并没有濒临衰退。

(D)indicative of

【错误】 句子结构：“of”之后连接了“the economy is not nearing a

recession”的主谓结构，但“of”不是句子连接词。

解题思路：
