Federal agents in Panama have raided theoffices ofthe Mossack Fonseca law

firm, which is linked to anumber ofoffshore accounts associated with

worldleaders.

Panama's attorney general said in astatement thatprosecutors and police

were searching for anyevidence thatwould establish the possible use of thefirm

for "illicitactivities."

The officers converged on companyheadquarters late Tuesday to search the

offices for evidencesupporting thecharges. Meanwhile the law firm posted on its

Twitter feed that it"continues tocooperate with authorities" in the

investigations.

The so-called "Panama Papers,"leaked online more than a week ago, featured

Company founder Ramon Fonseca has said thatthe company has broken no laws

The clients include Ukraine's PresidentPetro Poroshenko, friends of Russian

President VladimirPutin; and relatives ofBritish Prime Minister David Cameron,
