雅思考官simon大概不知道中国很多烤鸭的强大，可以把一个有60道part2话题，60篇巨制的口语答案的part2部分原原本本地背诵下来。他反对无脑的背诵，但他也一直强调要对口语的话题有一定的准备，他所推荐的比较通用的口语复习基本法：6大基本话题复习法。包括：an object，a person，an event，an activity，a place，your favourite。

他的主要思想是，复习雅思口语话题，应该围绕这6大基本话题，各准备1-2个相关话题，制作自己的答案，并从中总结每种基本话题的一些通用的内容，比如词汇，句型，表达，答案的一个流程等。

For part 2 of IELTS speaking, I encourage my students to

prepare ideas for 6 main topic areas:

6大基本话题

Describe an object (a gift, something you use etc.)

描述一个物品（礼物，所使用的东西等）

Describe a person (someone you admire, a family member etc.)

描述一个人（崇拜的人，家庭成员等）

Describe an event (a festival, celebration etc.)

描述一件大型活动（节，庆祝活动等）

Describe an activity (e.g. a hobby)

描述一件小型活动（业余爱好，团队活动等）

Describe a place (somewhere you visited, a holiday etc.)

描述某地（你旅游的地方，度假的地方等）

Describe your favourite (book/film/advertisement/website)

描述你最喜欢的（书，电影，广告，网站）

Most questions fit into one of these topics. For example, "Describe a river,

lake or sea which you like" is number 5 - you could describe a holiday by the

sea, or a city with a river.

其实，绝大多数问题，都可以归到这6大基本话题里。比如"描述你喜欢的一条河/湖/海"属于第五种话题-你可以描述你在海边所度过的一个假日，或者有某条河的一个城市。

那么，怎么具体地用6大基本话题法来来准备口语的话题呢？其实，主要要做的工作，就是搜集整理“theme vocabulary”主题词汇。

主题词汇搜集是关键

For example, here are some ideas for a description of an interesting

city:

例如，在准备Describe a place下的话题时，我们可以选择一个比较熟记的话题describe an interesting city，有哪些不错的词汇可以用来描述城市的好，有趣呢。

lively, bustling, hectic, thriving

cosmopolitan, multicultural

fascinating, unique

a special atmosphere

sightseeing, entertainment

an unforgettable experience

enjoyed every minute

the time flew by

endless things to see and do

it was over too quickly

你可以发现，这些词在描述某地时，多多少少的都能用上，通过1个基本话题下准备两三篇话题，把正面的主题词汇和少量负面的主题词汇都整理出来，然后通过筛选，得到最通用的一批，通过更多的话题的演练，你就可以将这批词汇用得得心应手了。

About the "describe an activity" topic. You might be asked to describe a

hobby, sport or game, so it's a good idea to be ready for this topic.

再比如你需要描述一项活动，你有可能会被问到业余爱好，一项运动或一项游戏。

My approach is to prepare ideas for one sport (e.g. swimming) and one game

(e.g. chess). I start with a simple idea, such as "swimming is healthy". Then I

search for good words and phrases related to this theme. For example:

我的复习方法是准备好一项运动（比如游泳）和一项游戏（象棋）。从一个最简单的想法开始，比如“游泳是一项很健康的运动”。然后我就开始与这个主题相关的搜集好的词汇和短语（编者注：建议大家使用bing搜索来查找这种外文语料）。

keep fit

get in better shape

a good cardiovascular workout

feel refreshed, rejuvenated, invigorated

gives me an energy boost
