What the situation was?
Who was involved?
Why they didn’t tell you the whole truth?
And explain how you felt when you found out you were not told the whole truth.
I remember one Saturday I had a date with my boyfriend Leo, but he was late and he explained that he overslept (睡过头)that morning. I didn’t suspected it until I saw a photo on one of my friends’ Weibo the next day. I was quite surprised to see a figure which resembled Leo. My friend said it was taken early in the morning last day in the school café but my boyfriend reassured me that he had never gone to school that day and he did get up late that morning. But I was still not quite sure about what he said and didn’t figure out why he had to lie to me for such petty issues. We once agreed that we all should trust each other and exchange opinions with each other. I felt like being cheated and I didn’t want to blame him since I hope we could have a stable relationship. The doubts and anxiety really bothered me and I felt uncomfortable when I looked at him. Finally, I chose to tell him my doubts and my feelings to his lie. To my surprise, he laughed and admitted that he had lied to me the other day because he left his hat in the café and he thought it a little bit silly so he lied. He didn’t expect that my friend would have a photo with his figure. I felt relieved after his explanation. It’s such an interesting coincidence (巧合)and a rare chance for testing our trust for each other. After that, my boyfriend and I decided to give more trust to each other and communicate with each other more frankly.
