8月雅思口语最新Part 3部分话题范文汇总
1.What do you think of children learning a foreign language?

It brings both more merits than demerits for a kid to acquire another
language. For the positive side, youngsters learn everything unconsciously, so
it will not be a huge suffering for them to overcome the barrier of their first
language. Having access to another culture earlier can shape them into open
minded global citizens. For the negative side, the juveniles may feel exhausted
and confused by the disparate systems of language.
2.Why are some language classes boring?
There can be several reasons accounting for the boredom of some language
lessons. Objectively, in the primary stage of acquiring a second secondary,
learning by rote is the key approach because there is no logic to explain the
new vocabulary and the set grammar. Subjectively, some teachers may be too
serious about scores and the exam-oriented education takes away the passion for
learning.
3.Some students hate to learn foreign languages, what can teachers do to
develop their interest?
There are several ways to boost the enthusiasm of a student to study a second
language. One easy method is to let them have access to foreign movies, TV
series and pop music through which they may be intrigued by a disparate way of
thinking and talking. Another means costs a little because it requires some
foreign teachers who are pretty or cute and willing to share what happens around
the globe.
4.Some people travel for learning a foreign language, what do you think?
To study a second language by travelling abroad brings both merits and
demerits. One most prominent advantage is to pick up some practical oral skills
without memorizing a large number of expressions that are hardly used in the
future. But the biggest weakness of the leaning method is that one can barely
master the correct and standard grammar of a targeted language due to the casual
nature of conversations.
5.What’s the best way to learn a foreign language?
To improve four skills respectively is the best approach in my mind. Reading
should be given the priority, since if no vocabulary is accumulated, meaning
cannot be gotten. As for listening, BBC Global News and 6 Minute English provide
an English environment. In terms of writing, translation from Chinese to English
will make a contribution while for speaking, reading after the standard
pronunciation can make a huge difference.
6.Why can some people learn languages fast while others learn slowly?
Several reasons can account for the speed difference of people to acquire
another language. One reason concerns the environment and this can be proved by
the fact that it is quicker for the mixed-blood, immersed in two different
language systems, to speak both languages fluently. Another reason is
unfortunately related to the gene which are responsible for the poor memory of
vocabulary.
7.Does one’s age affect their language learning?
Age plays a key role in language acquisition. One major distinction concerns
the way of learning. Children get to everything unconsciously while adults learn
consciously, which means more pains for grow-ups unfortunately. Also, the
barrier brought by the mother tongue is easier to overcome for kids who have not
formed a deep rooted system of the native language as their parents do.
