Speaking of a song that reminds me of particular stage in life, I want to

talk about "Moms are the best in the world, The song passionately expresses a

child's love for his mom. The melody is so beautiful and lyrics are so

impressive. The lyrics go like "Moms are the best in the world. A child with a

mother is just like a honey who can enjoy the endless happiness in mom's

embrace. Moms are the best in the word. A child without a mother is just like a

blade of grass and there is no happiness without mom's embrace.

When I was little, my kindergarten teacher taught me how to sing this song.

On the Mom’s Day of that year, I sang it to my mom with all my heart and soul.

And I gave my mom a tight hug and a big fat kiss on the cheek after. I saw her

eyes filled with tears at that moment. And I am sure that it was tears of joy.

She told me that it was the happiest Mom's Day that she had ever had. And I sing

this song to my mom on Mother's Day every year since then.

Actually, this song is definitely much more than just a song to me. It

represents the love I have to my mom. It means a lot to me and I am sure it

means a lot more to my mom.

Well, “Wake Me Up When September Ends” is one of my favorite songs. It’s an

anti-war song by Green Day—a famous rock band from America. This song is adapted

from a true story: There was a happy couple who had a sweet and simple life.

However, the Iraq War broke out one day, and the young man was forced to fight

against the enemy in Iraq. Unfortunately, the cruel war deprived the man of his

life. In spite of this, his fiancée expects him year after year when September

ends….but she understands that he would never come back. When I first listened

to the song, I couldn’t help weeping not only because the lyrics are blue, but

because the inner meaning of the song, that is, the war is cruel. This song won

the 47th best rock album Grammy.

The first time I heard the lovely song is when I was about 8 up to when I was

10 maybe, I can’t remember the exact time, but I’m sure it’s in my primary

school. I don’t remember the name of that childhood song already, but I still

remember the lyrics and melody of that song. It was written in Chinese, so I

can’t completely translate every word of it, but I can tell you the general

idea. It’s about the merry time after school. Children go to catch loaches in

the muddy water after a heavy rain. Since I caught loaches before, I have strong

feelings of this song. Every summer vacation in my primary school, I would visit

my grandparents in the countryside. At that time, my cousins always took me to

catch loaches, we sang this song aloud on our way to the muddy farm. The melody

is cheerful in a merry mood, so we always sang that song at the top of our

lungs. It was amazing. But I haven’t gone to catch the loaches for a long time.

I was busy with my study before and now busy with my work. The lyrics and melody

always remind me of the happiest time I had in my childhood.
