1.What is your opinion about the phenomenon that many people like to plant
vegetables by themselves?
It's a very common and healthy way for people to eat
vegetables planted by themselves. I think they're mostly based on the
considerations that the environment we live in has been polluted heavily and
there are severe food security problems in China. People are fearing that they
may get sick by eating polluted food outside.
2.Why do people like houses attached with garden?
Firstly, I guess it's
because people are like rare things as there is a huge population in China and
people are mostly live in apartments, it is very seldom for people to live in a
house with garden. The second reason I can think of is that nowadays people
mostly work among skyscrapers and it'll be very comfortable and released for
them to see green stuff back home.
3.Do you often go to visit gardens?
No, not really, I think that's probably
because there are few gardens in the downtown area.

Yes, there are houses with
individual gardens and they are mostly in the rural area. As for apartments,
usually there is a garden in the middle of the neighborhood.

Eh, No, I

Organic food is very popular nowadays because people

the hospital or pay respect to the dead in a cemetery.

No, I don't think it's reasonable for parks to
sell tickets cause parks are public green space for people who live nearby to
walk and get some fresh air. And it's usually constructed and run by government,
which means citizens have already paid for it by taxes. So, I don't think it's
appropriate for parks to sell tickets. They should be free to the public.
10.Are there any parks that need volunteers?
No, I don't think so cause the
parks are mostly run by government and they have staff there to do the
management work.
11.Do Chinese go to the park quite often?
Yes. Especially for those
middle-aged women. They go to dance at the open space in parks. Mostly in the
morning and evening.

Yes, it has positive influence
on people's health. It's essential for people to walk or run in a place with

Yes, I’d love to. And I'll plant

How do
they use it? Yes, of course. In Yunnan Province, the climate is moderate all the
year, which is very suitable for growing flowers. Most of the flowers on market
are from Yunnan. They use flowers to decorate their house and apartments or show
their respect to the people they love.
17.Are there any green areas in your country?
Yes, we have national parks in
the reserved district and various size of parks distributing in cities.
18.Do you think it is necessary to build more green areas?
Yes, of course.
Compared to the quantity and density of population in China, the number of green
parks are too small.
19.Some people think they do not go to parks, so they do not need to donate
money to build green areas?
How to solve this problem? Governments can use money
from the taxes to build up green areas. And for those who doesn’t want to pay
for parks they are also enjoying some of the facilities paid by other
