getting to the given locations 考生本意是用现在分词短语作目的状语，行不通呢，表目的时我们一般使用to

do。

改写如下

The main reasons for this are that people do not need to spend either their

time or their money on travelling to the location where the training or meeting

is taking place.

虽然that …部分只是一个从句，但语义上传递的信息是“既不用费钱又不用费时间”，可以理解为两个因素，因此用the main reasons
