思路解析：

开头段简要说明事情的原因：上个月因为有太多任务要做，所以我和室友不得不熬夜到很晚，又很早起床。

叙述事情的经过：快到截止时间了，论文还没写完，只能用咖啡来提神;只睡了一小时就起床复习口语，最后考试也没发挥好。

感受：特别忙碌、疯狂(the most hectic)，学到的教训是任何事情都尽早准备，在重要的日子要休息好。

Sample answer：

Last month was a terrible month for me and my classmates since we got 3

deadlines clashed in one week. My roommates and I all stayed up late every night

before that horrible week. Just 12 hours before the deadline, I still had 2500

words to write and several English articles to recite(背诵). I had to drink

several cups of coffee to prevent me from falling asleep and I finally finished

my essay before six o'clock. However, I had got to sit the English oral test

before I handed in my essay and the test began early in the morning. I had no

other options but only slept for an hour and then got up at 7 o'clock to review

my oral presentation. To tell you the truth, that feeling sucked. I got to the

test room ten minutes before its start and I could think of nothing since I

didn't get enough sleep. With the time passing by, I felt into desperation(绝望)

and I could hardly speak out a whole sentence. It's my worst test performance in

the history. After the test, I went to faculty office to hand in my essay, but

the copy machine there didn't work. What an day! That was really the most

hectic(忙乱的) and memorable experience for me, and I learn a lesson that I should

prepare everything early and have a good rest on the important day.
