The person who has had an important influence on me is my elder brother,

Jerry. He is still a junior student in Zhengzhou University. He is fond of

singing and playing musical instruments. A few months ago, he participated in a

singing competition, named ‘Voice of China’. He defeated more than 300

competitors and won the second place. I felt quite proud of him.

He has set a good example for me since I was a child. He is only 2 years

elder than me, what he has done really inspired me. For instance, he insisted on

practicing piano for over 15 years. What he has achieved on music contributed to

his donation to it. That encouraged me so much on fulfilling my dream.

Besides, he is a very warm-hearted person who has helped many children in

poverty in the past few years. Almost each summer vacation, he goes to the

obtained a lot from them. He is glad to share his feelings and benefits with me.
