雅思写作中常用的衔接词有：

while, during, as, while, despite, unless, until, when, as soon as等表示时间、时序、让步、条件等的连词。

however, ever since, in that case, consequently, hence等引导的从句或让步状语从句。

therefore, consequently, in short, in summary等总结性词语。

for example, for instance, such as, in fact等举例性词语。

now that, in view of, in the light of等表示因果、鉴于的词语。

also, not only...but also... not only...but (also) ...等;不仅而且;的词语。

not to mention, besides, in addition to等表示递进、补充、说明的词语。

whether...or..., none the less, better still等用于否定句、疑问句，含有不确定因素时，起到安慰、鼓励或加强语气的作用。

unless (unless)引导的条件状语从句，当且仅当 汉语或英语习惯搭配中意思表达必要条件时，为连词that的替代品，充当状语，常用于省略主句的简单句中。
