Well, the surprise and happy thing I would like share with you was my birthday surprise. Actually, last Saturday was my birthday and I was busy preparing IELTS, I almost forgot it. After studying in library, I came back to the dormitory and I found a weird thing. It seemed that there was a blackout in the dormitory. I thought we forgot to pay the electricity bill since I couldn’t turn on the light, but suddenly, I saw several candles flickering in the dark and then I heard my roommates singing happy birthday to me and walking towards me. I soon realized that it was a birthday surprise made by my roommates. I could hardly say a word to express my feelings at that time. They also sent me a Swarovski necklace I had been longing for as a birthday gift. They knew that I was under a lot of pressure preparing IELTS, so they decided to hold a party to celebrate my birthday and release my stress. I was quite happy and touched by their preparation. With their support and encouragement, I believe I can do well in the test. I cherish the time we had together and I believe our friendship will last forever.
