St Kilda beach is a very popular place for people in Melbourne to go for

swimming and otherrecreational activities. There are also lots of bars,

nightclubs, cafes and restaurants as well. St Kilda beach is located

approximately 12 kilometers from Melbourne’s CBD and the beach itself is very

long so there are lots of spots for people to swim.

I first visited this beach in 2007 when I first came to Australia. My school

organized it for us and took us all there for a day trip and as I remember it

was a very memorable and exciting trip for me because we don’t really have many

beautiful beaches and seaside places in my hometown so the whole experience was

new for me and I absolutely loved it!

I have been to St Kilda beach many times over the past few years and I visit

the beach during warm days and sometimes in winter as well. I’d say I go there

once every 2 weeks and last time I also went for fishing with my friends which

was pretty fun!

Anyway, St Kilda beach is super popular because there are a lot of awesome

bars and cafes around the beach, not to mention the beach clubs that attract

many local and international visitors every year. Also, you can always join some

festivals there as well so it’s rich in culture and tradition too and not just

anordinary beach.

I guess people love it there because of the whole environment and also its

convenient location which is not far from the city so it makes it easy for

everyone to get there even those who don’t drive. I also forgot to mention that

some of Melbourne’s finest chocolate shops and burger joints are located in St

Kilda so if you’re a foodie and enjoy fine dining and exotic cocktails, then St

Kilda beach is the place for you and I definitely recommend it!
