我们学习了考官在小作文中用with的两个套路：

“排除异己”

在这一部分，上期学习的例句为：

Banana sales mostly clustered between 0.6 and 2 million euros, with

Switzerland the outlier at a huge 15 million euros.

本期，我们来看另一种表达。

例句1：

Banana sales mostly clustered between 0.6 and 2 million euros, with the

exception of Switzerland at a huge 15 million euros.

例句2：

By 2004, sales figures for both products had risen across the board, except

for/with the exception of Sweden and Denmark which recorded drops in banana

sales.

写法：with the exception of …

解析： with the exception of或except for 接名词信息，后接内容为主干数据组中的特例。

“引出数据”

Petrol and oil are the dominant fuel sources throughout this period, with

35 quadrillion (35q) units used in 1980, rising to 42q in 2012.

写法：with + 数据

解析：“with 35 quadrillion (35q) units used in 1980, rising to 42q in

2012”可以替换“from 35 quadrillion (35q) units in 1980 to 42q in 2012”

“独立主格，形成对比关系”

Overall, the US will continue to rely on fossil fuels, with sustainable and

nuclear energy sources remaining relatively insignificant.

写法：with + noun. + doing …

解析：在结尾段，也可以使用如上的例句，with前后构成对比关系。
