我们知道waste有“浪费、废物”的意思;那老外对你说You're so wasted，是骂你真浪费，还是骂你是废物?其实都不是，千万别搞错了!

01. You're so wasted!

wasted不只是动词waste的过去式，

作形容词，表示：徒劳无功的，白费的;

此外它还可以表示：极度迷醉的，烂醉的。

所以老外对你说You're so wasted，

实际表达的是“你喝得烂醉，你喝大了!”

也可以说You get wasted.

【例句】

You were so wasted last night.

We had to carry you back home.

你昨晚喝得烂醉，

我们不得不把你抬回家。

“喝醉”还可以这么说：

I'm a little tipsy.

我有点醉了。

good-for-nothing的英文解释是：

a person who is lazy and has no skills
