范文1:
I once heard a news story about a man who is pretty lazy all the time, but he
could always come up with some hilarious ideas to make easy money, just like
what the fox does in the movie Zootopia. And recently he got arrested because of
something “unbelievable” he did. Here’s the story.

One day he was running out of money, so it was time for another scam, you
know. He spent every penny he had left on a package tour to Dubai, which is the
wealthiest city in the Middle East and is packed with loaded and generous people
who spend money like water. On the first day he set foot on Dubai, instead of
checking in the fancy hotel the travel agency had arranged, he went straight to
the corner of the street, sat down and started to beg for money. And when it was
getting dark, he just wrapped himself up in the blanket he prepared. According
to what he said in a later interview, the reason why he didn’t go back to the
hotel is that he needs to have some professional ethics. Interesting, uh?
Anyway, by the end of his trip, he had begged 470,000 RMB, which is a ridiculous
amount of money that is impossible for an average person to make in a year!
I don’t remember how he got arrested, and to be honest, I didn’t realize it
was a crime until someone told me that his tourist visa doesn’t qualify him to
work as a beggar in Dubai. The fact that he was fined a huge amount of money in
the end has burst quite a few people’s bubble who planned to copy him.
So I guess this story is interesting as well as educational.
范文2:
I would like to share a stimulating story about the axes. The first time I
heard of this story was when I was 7 years old. My mom told me it as a bedtime
story, and I remembered it since them. The story was about a young woodman,
Jack, who lost his axe when crossing the river. He was afraid that if the
rancher found that he lost his equipment to earn a living, he would be beaten to
death. So he cried loudly, even the river god heard his tearful voice. The river
god decided to help this poor young man, then he found a gold and a silver axe
and ask Jack whether they belonged to him. But he said no. For the last time,
the river god handed over an iron axe to Jack, and jack was thrilled to
recognize his axe. He felt really grateful for the river god, and in turn, river
god was touched by his honesty. He said, Jack, your honesty would lead you to
live a happy life. I thought this story tells us that we may face many
temptations, but we couldn't be greedy and we need to stick to our principles
and bottom lines. In this way, we wouldn't get lost in materialism.
