I’d like to talk about a prize I really want to get. Actually recently in my school there will be a competition held to test our English proficiency. Recently, I have already devoted my time to English. So it’s really a pleasant activity to help me get access to more useful English expressions. The prize is really an appealing one, which is also something I desire to buy for a long time. It’s an ipad- the one that I can use as a portable computer. If I want to get that prize, of course I need to get the first place in that competition, which is quite difficult. Currently I’m trying hard and taking many efforts in that, like reading English every morning. I also communicated with my English teacher for her suggestions. Actually during the process I got a lot. I acquired a great deal of knowledge relevant or irrelevant to it. I am so tied up with these things recently, but I guess it’s worth doing so. About the reasons why I really want to win the prize, the main reason is about the ipad, which I really want. Although nowadays many kinds of cell phones can also do the same thing as ipad, the screens of cell phones are not big enough for me to watch some videos. Another important reason is that, actually through the process I’ve devoted time to the competition, I felt that I obtained so much and I guess they made me improve a lot. As I’ve done so many things, of course I hope I can make some achievement and get acknowledgement from others. If I win the prize, I will definitely feel very happy. Besides, I will be more confident in speaking English.
