1.How do people share good news?
Well, nowadays, with the rapid development of technology, people have more
access to get information. So people usually share good news on social media,
such as Weibo and Wechat. People can instantly update news and information by
mobile phones, website and other ways. It’s more convenient than traditional
letters. And in this way news can also be more widespread.
2.How does modern technology affect the delivery of information?
As far as I'm concerned, the media technology has greatly changed the method
of information transmission. When I commute to work by bus or subway, I always
find that most passengers now interact with their smartphones, many check
e-mails, check updates on the micro blog, while others catch up with news
articles. Different from the traditional faxes and letters, the modern media
technology allows people to receive the latest and fastest message at anytime
and in anywhere.
3.When do people share good news?
People share good news when the good news can make the listeners happy. For
example, if an employee gets promotion, he won’t probably tell his colleagues
who might be jealousy of him and feel bitter. Instead, he will come back home
and tell the big news to his wife who will give him a warm hug. Also, if a man
marries a woman, they will at first share the happiness with their families and
friends. But their former boyfriends and girlfriends might not be happy enough
to know too much about the wedding, let alone attending it.
4.What kinds of good news have you received before?
OK, so good news that I got was the birth of my godson. My friend messaged me
I think 5:30 in the morning on the day of his birth telling me, you’re a
godmother! She hadn’t asked me to be a godmother before, so I was very excited
and very happy. It was great news, not just good news.
