The website that I want to talk about today is called “ Bilbili”. It’s an online video website which provides a wide range of reality shows, movies and TV series. But themost remarkable character of “Bilbili” is that all the users can type in their thoughts and comments on the screen which called “bullet screen” (弹幕)while watching the video which created a very engaging and amusing atmosphere. Sometimes, the major users of “Bilbili”are just going for the funny bullet screen. You know, sometimes watching a movie alone is pretty boring, so when if there is a bunch of people sharing their feelings with you, you definitely won’t feel that boredom again. Normal I will browse this website at night,searching for some newly updated or top-rated movies or simply just follow the ranking list. But sometimes, if I go visit some friends or when they come to my place, we will watch the movies on “Bilibili” together at any time, cuz I think it’s easier to laugh and let it out with friends than alone. I first come to know this website was a year ago, one of my friend recommended it to me, in the beginning I thought what’s fun with the endless bullet screen, so I reluctantly watched one movie. But it turned out to be extremely amusing and we kept giggling throughout the movie, so I end up as a big fan of “Bilibili”. The reason that I think this website is interesting is that, first, a lot of movie and TV series resource is not given on the internet nowadays while “Bilibili”still provides. Second, the funny bullet screen became a label of this special online video website and this function is not only entertaining but also nowhere else to see. Sometime I even type a lot about the movie’s scenario or my personal comments just for the sake of entertaining and talking with other watchers.
