And explain how you felt about it
范文1:
It just happened on last year of my birthday. My sister bought me a strapless
dress as a present. I felt surprised because this dress is not my taste. My
sister said she bought it for me because she has never seen I wore any this kind
of dress. She told me, girls should have to care your appearance and strapless
dress is one of the most vital items in my wardrobe. The dress comes from a
famous luxury brand and I know lots of my friends dream for it. You know, the
dress is black with understated decoration on the hemline. Although I love this
gorgeous dream, it could be worn only on formal occasions. So I wore this dress
in my graduation ceremony party. A lot of my classmates were fascinated by it
and came to ask me where they could buy it. You know, as I said I had never
dressed like that before. But after that time, I became more confident and
changed my dressing style.
范文2:
Speaking of the piece of clothing that another person gave to me, I would
like to talk about one of my business suit. It, as a birthday gift, was bought
by my father when I was 21 years old. The business suit was produced by the
brand name HUGO BOSS. The color of the business suit is dark blue with three
buttons in the middle and two big pockets on the down left and down right sides
of the suit. I really like that suit.
Every time when I have a presentation or interview, I will definitely choose
that suit because it makes me feel comfortable and confident. Also, this is a
gift bought by my father, which makes me feel warm and less nervous. It is worth
mentioning that every time I wear that business suit, I have a strong feeling
that I am no longer a child or even a student. I should hold responsibility for
my career and become a mature man. I should not always rely on my parents’
support. I need to be independent and grow up. The first impression you make on
a potential employer is the most important one. The first judgment an
interviewer makes is going to be based on how you look and what you are wearing.
That's why it's always important to dress professionally for a job interview,
even if the work environment is casual.
What's the appropriate dress code for an interview? You'll want that first
impression to be not just a good one, but, a great one. The candidate dressed in
a suit and tie is going to make a much better impression than the candidate
dressed in scruffy jeans and a t-shirt.
