Perhaps one of the most conspicuous impacts that the Internet has had on

people’s daily life is the shift from tackling everyday trivialities at

specialised brick-and-mortar places to online services, with their personal

information put online. While some may view this as a detrimental and risky

development, I tend to think otherwise.

compare prices or cases where clients spent a half of a day queuing in a bank to

handle business activities. However, with the increasing busy lifestyle that the

majority of people are forced to live nowadays, they do not have much time, and

those everyday activities can actually be done by a single click on certain

websites once netizens have put their information online. In this case, such a

tendency suits today’s fast-paced life.
