思路解析：

最喜欢的一个家庭(除了自己的家庭之外)：我表妹一家

描述这个家庭，谈谈对他们家的了解：一家三口，已定居在美国一段时间。这也是我表妹自出生以来，他们一家第一次回国。

活动：去北山公园、松花江、寺庙，品尝了很多当地美食，欣赏了美丽的风景。

为什么喜欢这一家人：因为存在着血浓于水的亲情(blood is thicker than

water.)，虽然身处两国，但是我们两家人之间的爱和友谊永存。

Sample answer：

The family which I would like to talk about is my cousin’s family. Last

summer holiday, my cousin’s family came to visit my family, and I really enjoyed

spending time with them.

My uncle, aunt and my cousin have lived in the USA for a long time, and we

two family haven’t met each other for a long period of time. Actually, that was

the first time they visited here since my cousin was born. She has never seen

her mother land before, thus she was so excited and curious about everything she

saw. During her stay in my hometown, we went to see the Beishan Park, Songhua

River, ancient temples and ate a great amount of local delicacies(美味佳肴) as well

as other scenic spots. Her parents moved to the states to pursue their American

Dreams when they were young, and they have been working as an engineer since

then, and 2 years later after they settled down(安定下来), my cousin was born, now

she goes to the elementary school, although she speaks good English, she has

never seen china.

This visit was indeed a great opportunity for her to get to know more about

our country, and it was also a great opportunity for me to practice my English.

I love this family very much, because there is a Chinese saying goes, “blood is

thicker than water.”(血浓于水) Although we live in different countries, but love and

precious friendship between us will last forever.
